The Norman’s Cove-Long Cove Volunteer Fire Department was established way back in 1971. Since then our Department has grown to become one of the most successful and well managed in the Region 2 district. Over the last 2 years alone we have sought out and acquired a new Water Tender, have been awarded a brand new 2012 Walk-In Rescue Unit, and have been steadily improving every aspect of what we do for the public.

Today we provide fire protection and other services to roughly 1,200 citizens in the Town of Norman’s Cove-Long Cove and the adjacent Town of Chapel Arm, and have mutual aid agreements with other towns in the vicinity as well.
